Brief History/Biography:
I was raised in a military family, which is how we ended up at Ft. Greely, Alaska. After attaining the rank of Eagle Scout I joined the Fire Explorer program with the Delta Junction Vol. Fire Dept. That is where the career started. I spent four years in the University Fire Dept., was hired shortly afterwards with the City of Kenai Fire Dept. I married my dear wife, Susan and then went to Denver for Paramedic school. I was hired on with Central Emergency Services in Soldotna, Alaska as a firefighter/paramedic. Three years later, I accepted a lateral firefighter position with the Aurora Fire Dept. in Aurora, Colorado. Spent the next 14 years becoming an Avalanche and Bronco Fanatic! Also during that time I was a member of the Hazmat team, Technical Rescue Team, FEMA USAR Task force and a Company Officer for Aurora. In the summer of 2013 I accepted a position back with Central Emergency Services-Kenai Peninsula Borough as the Deputy Chief. Brining Susan and I full circle back to Alaska!
