How many years were you with the University of Alaska Fire Department? 

2 Years.  2002-2004


What is your favorite memory, story, experience, etc. while at the University Fire Department?

C-Shift, C-Shift house, learning how to fly fish on the Chena, Starvation gulch mixed with the Tradition stone and paintball guns, Tailboard talks, exploding toilets at Station 2, Harding Lake, camping…


Brief History/Biography: 

Born and raised in Anchorage graduated from Service High School in 2002 and moved up to Fairbanks a week later.  After 2 year with UFD I was hired with Anchorage Fire Department.  February of 2005 married my Bride Sarah and shortly thereafter welcomed are first child to the Family Fiona are English bulldog.  The following year I attended Paramedic School through UAA’s Kenai Campus.  In fall of 2008 we were blessed with are first child Max.  Our family has continued to grow with the addition of Presley and Riley who came to their forever family through the miracle of adoption in 2010 and 2012.  January of 2011 I was promoted to Engineer and Stationed downtown on C-Shift.  April of 2013 brought about a 4th addition to our family as we welcomed Blake.  Most recently in March of 2014 I was promoted to Captain.  It has been a whirlwind of activity and I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing and supportive family.
